About the iPhone
Introducing iPhone 3G. With fast 3G wireless technology, GPS mapping, support for enterprise features like Microsoft Exchange, and the new App Store, iPhone 3G puts even more features at your fingertips. And like the original iPhone, it combines three products in one — a revolutionary phone, a widescreen iPod, and a breakthrough Internet device with rich HTML email and a desktop-class web browser. iPhone 3G. It redefines what a mobile phone can do — again. Apple ignited the personal computer revolution in the 1970s with the Apple II and reinvented the personal computer in the 1980s with the Macintosh. Today, Apple continues to lead the industry in innovation with its award-winning computers, OS X operating system and iLife and professional applications. Apple is also spearheading the digital media revolution with its iPod portable music and video players and iTunes online store, and has entered the mobile phone market with its revolutionary iPhone. • Ideally, they should be working towards having an addon that connects to the USB on the iPhone, and a slot to place the credit cards in that have the SIM chips on them. no manually typing CC no’s, CVV, EXP date etc. just the amount and hand it over to the customer to type in their PIN (which is not stored on the phone after the transaction of course!)… and accept payment. the option to print a receipt at a local Point of Sale terminal, or the user can input their email address/mobile phone number to accept delivery of the receipt.

just an idea. lots of people have those SIM cards on their credit cards, but are still swiping the MAGstrips. might as well start using the technology that’s been given to us.

  • It seems like this product has been removed or canceled as such I would suggest a much more advanced app called BILLING Credit Card Terminal. The original creator of the signature capture feature and built in tip functions.

That suggestion posted above about the email of the receipt was first introduced by BILLING which also includes the signature image and transaction details.
