Previously a commander of thousands of soldiers, with his unit in Iraq earning the Valorous Unit Award for its role in the hunt and capture of Saddam Hussein. Steve’s support for our men and women in uniform has intensified since he retired. He is Founder and Chairman of “Vets for Victory” and speaks across the nation encouraging support for our troops. A thought-provoking speaker, writer and media analyst, Steve Russell has been featured on many national and local news programs. He was elected Oklahoma State Senator in August of 2008.
About the Website
When it came time for LTC Steve Russell (Ret) to run to for Oklahoma State Senate, he turned to Scherr Technology. The site includes all the latest campaign tools like video, donate/contribute (via secure shopping cart), volunteer, newsletter , tell a friend and custom contact us webform. Using the single page as a framework, we embedded micro applications thus providing the functionality of a larger website with minimal navigation. Technologies include HTML, CSS, PHP, CGI, DHTML, LightBox and Javascript. We provided steverussell.us with strategy, design and implementation services.
